Accounts Support Administrator (Bookkeeper) required for a maternity contract (9 months) for an expanding commercial company based in Gibraltar. The ideal person will have a background in accounting/bookkeeping and would be quick to pick up systems as the role will involve helping mostly with invoice processing into SAP (training will be provided) but able to assist with accounts work on Sage X3.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Inputting Sales and Purchase Invoices to the current SAP system.
  • Assisting with inputting of bank transactions.
  • Reconciliations of multiple bank accounts, sterling and euro.
  • Assisting with accounting data entry into Sage X3.
  • Assist with the month end reconciliations for Purchase and Sales ledger control accounts.
  • Support the Finance Director as required on any outstanding tasks.
  • Assist with any ad hoc duties that may arise within the finance admin function including filing or photocopying.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • Ideally some knowledge of working with Sales and Purchase ledger invoicing.
  • Both independent and self-directed and a good team worker and collaborator.
  • AAT Level 2 or 3 would be ideal but not essential if relevant working experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and handle multiple tasks.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and comfortable working with people at all levels in the organisation.
  • Able and willing to perform mundane tasks as and when required.
  • Good knowledge of Excel/ Microsoft Office.
