AV Engineer sought to join a development company based in Gibraltar. This is a hands-on role combining Audio-Visual (AV) systems expertise with IT administration responsibilities. As the AV Engineer you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and ongoing development of AV installations across all visitor sites. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can work independently and contribute to delivering exceptional visitor experiences through reliable and high-quality AV technology.

What You Will Be Doing
- Install, configure, support, and maintain AV systems and equipment across site installations and attractions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Perform IT administration tasks on Windows and Linux environments.
- Work with attraction teams to integrate and optimise new AV technology.
- Conduct regular maintenance, testing, and upgrades of existing AV installations.
- Ensure all systems are reliable, secure, and deliver an outstanding visitor experience.
- Learn new AV technologies and solutions quickly to support evolving business needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers as required.
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
- Solid experience in AV technology (installation, support, and maintenance of audio-visual systems).
- Practical IT administration experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Local candidate preferred (Gibraltar or surrounding area) for operational flexibility.
- Previous experience in visitor attractions, tourism, or similar public-facing environments (desirable).
- Knowledge of modern AV solutions (e.g., digital signage, projection systems, audio setups, control systems) (desirable).
- Basic networking knowledge.
