Technical Maintenance Manager required for a growing company based in Gibraltar. As the Technical Maintenance Manager you will oversee the technical and maintenance operations across the company’s residential and commercial estate ensuring that buildings, systems and facilities are maintained to the highest standard, supporting the smooth running of all developments and delivering an exceptional experience for residents, tenants and stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day technical maintenance operations across multiple estates.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site maintenance teams, contractors and specialist service providers.
  • Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure all statutory compliance works are completed on time.
  • Respond to technical issues, faults and emergencies, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Review quotes, technical reports and contractor proposals, ensuring best value and quality of workmanship.
  • Liaise closely with the Management team, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow between operations, admin, and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of works, inspections, certifications and maintenance logs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and building performance.
  • Support estate projects, refurbishments and new equipment installations as required.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management or technical facilities role (property, estates, Facilities Management or building services background desirable).
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, building fabric, contractors’ practices, and health & safety requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise across a fast-paced workload.
  • Confident communicator able to coordinate teams and manage contractor relationships effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of maintenance reporting systems and digital tools (training provided on our internal systems).
  • A hands-on, solution-focused approach with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
