Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join a progressive and fast-growing insurance company with a significant base in Gibraltar. The role is technical in nature requiring at least 10 to 15 years’ PQE and high-level Solvency II expertise. As the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering statutory and regulatory reporting, supporting project work, and ensuring high-quality outputs across group and entity reporting. The role will report to the Finance Director on site and the wider Board Directors in the UK.

What You Will Be Doing
- Leading all Solvency II and regulatory reporting, including QRTs, SFCRs, and liquidity reporting.
- Be capable of providing Solvency II advice as required.
- Contribute to financial reporting across both BAU and integration project work.
- Assist with preparation, review, and analysis of quarterly and annual submissions.
- Support system testing and reporting process improvements.
- Using modelling tools like Astra for compiling complex high-volume data.
- Work closely with finance and project teams to meet deadlines and deliver accurate outputs.
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
- Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA with strong financial reporting experience.
- At least 10 to 15 years’ PQE.
- Advanced reporting skills using Excel and modelling.
- Experience within general insurance is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Solvency II/Solvency UK reporting.
- Capital modelling.
- Background in financial services or insurance.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and regulatory reporting.
