As the Maintenance Operations Supervisor you will work closely with our Technical Maintenance Manager, Senior Management, contractors, and on-site staff, the successful candidate will help ensure our estates remain safe, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assist in the supervision and coordination of maintenance activities across multiple estates.
  • Act as the first point of contact for routine maintenance issues and technical enquiries.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal departments to ensure works are completed efficiently.
  • Monitor contractor attendance, workmanship, and compliance with site procedures.
  • Carry out regular inspections of buildings, plant rooms, communal areas, and estate facilities.
  • Identify maintenance requirements and report findings to management.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating preventive maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with emergency call-outs and urgent maintenance matters when required.
  • Support project works, fit-outs, and improvement programmes across the portfolio.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management, building services, or a related field.
  • Strong computer literacy, with confidence using spreadsheets, databases, reporting systems, maintenance management software, and standard business applications.
  • Good understanding of general building maintenance and contractor management.
  • Ability to identify and assess maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Full driving licence preferred.
  • Professional and approachable manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a wider team.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of presentation, safety, and customer service.
