Accounts Assistant to work for a leading Fiduciary company based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. It is a busy office supporting a growing number of clients locally and internationally. The Accounts Assistant will be studying towards or completed the AAT or ACCA qualification and have solid financial accounting skills. Microsoft Office is used daily, Excel in particular, so candidates applying must have a high level of proficiency in this area.

What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for the delivery of high-quality company and trust accounting services to a portfolio of clients under the direction of the Head of Department
- Assist with producing Trust accounts for clients
- Assist with complex NAV calculations, mainly reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of Gibraltar tax returns
- Working with Viewpoint daily so experience of this would be an advantage
- Ad hoc duties as required by the Client Accounting Department
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
- Previous accounting experience ideally gained in an accounting or professional services environment
- Studying towards AAT (can be qualified) or ACCA, you will be part qualified at this time
- Excellent numeracy skills
- A thorough and accurate approach to work and the ability to manage complex and detailed financial information are essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- The ability to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively will be key in this role
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team to tight deadlines
- Viewpoint would be an advantage
- A high level of proficiency in all MS Office applications (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required
