Assistant Accountant AAT level 3 or 4 for an established Insurance company based in the sunny jurisdiction of Gibraltar. Candidates who have the relevant book keeping experience listed below will also be considered. The Accounts Assistant will be required to have a strong attention to detail for invoice entering, bank, cash and claims reconciliations and understand the needs when working within a highly regulated industry. It is a team focussed office so a hands on mind set is required. Achieving strict company deadlines is key.

What You Will Be Doing
Performing bank reconciliations
Setting up bank payments
Working with AP/AR, both preparing company invoices and processing external invoices
Journals – accruals, prepayments
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of external reporting
Data analysis using excel
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Minimum 3 years in a finance office doing bookkeeping type work
Familiarity with accounts
AAT Level 3 or 4 or QBE will be considered
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with an accounting system
Used to working to deadline
You will enjoy finding a solution, finishing a task, taking responsibility and owning the result
Experience with stock management is an advantage but not essential
