Our client, a globally renowned accounting organisation, is seeking a dynamic, professional and capable Audit Assistant to join their growing Audit and Consultancy teams in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Saudi Arabia. To be considered as a suitable candidate for this opportunity you will ideally have a relevant Degree in Finance, Business Studies, Economics or similar and be part qualified CA, CPA, ACA or ACCA.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Audit Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the audit team in the following areas:

  • Conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements.

  • Conducting substantive tests and analysing financial data.

  • Documenting findings and preparing audit reports.

  • Collaborating with clients to address any accounting or financial issues.

  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards.

What You Will Need For This Role:

  • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in audit and accounting in a CA firm.

  • Part qualified CA, CPA, ACA, or ACCA, with completed Articles in a CA firm.

  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft skills, particularly Excel

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

  • Keen eye for detail, a strong ability to work under pressure, and a knack for problem solving.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
