Barista – Hospitality – Gibraltar 

As a Barista, you will contribute to the success of the café by delivering an outstanding experience to customers and team members alike. You will serve as an ambassador for our client’s values and culture, bringing passion for coffee and a commitment to quality in everything you do. The Barista will thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy engaging with people, and take pride in preparing high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. 2 months’ training will be provided at the Seville HQ, all expenses paid.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items to high quality and presentation standards 
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience through attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism 
  • Stay composed and positive during busy or challenging situations 
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper stocking throughout the café 
  • Follow operational procedures, including those related to cash handling, health and safety, and food hygiene 
  • Support the opening and closing of the café, including terrace setup and inventory restocking 
  • Monitor customer needs and café conditions to anticipate and respond effectively 
  • Communicate clearly with the shift leader and colleagues to ensure smooth operations 
  • Assist in onboarding new team members by modelling best practices and offering constructive feedback 
  • Foster a welcoming environment that makes customers feel at home 

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role 

  • A genuine passion for customer service and coffee culture 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • A willingness to learn and grow in a team setting 
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and resilience 
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback 
  • Reliability and punctuality 
  • No prior experience required as training will be provided— customer-facing experience is a plus
