Broking Administrator required for a busy Insurance office in Gibraltar. This role offers a rewarding salary package including many benefits. What You Will Be Doing
- Provide timely and professional customer service to clients face to face, over the phone and via email.Â
- Engage with clients to resolve queries and provide effective solutions.Â
- Work closely with insurers to obtain quotations, in accordance with client requirements.Â
- Issue renewals and follow-up with existing customers.Â
- Produce invoices and handle client payments.Â
- Obtain new business and renewal quotations from our providers in accordance with the clients’ requirements, following the established procedures. Â
- Provide essential operational support to the team, including data entry in the broking system and other administrative duties.Â
- Prepare policy documentation and renewal notices.Â
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information for renewals and assist with new business enquiries.Â
- Coordinate between clients, underwriters, and insurers to facilitate smooth communication.Â
- Handle client payments. Â
- Handle day-to-day administration tasks, including data entry on our broking system and spreadsheets. Â
- Perform any other duties as assigned by broking senior management. Â
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
- Fluent in English and a good level of Spanish.Â
- Any knowledge of insurance is an advantage, but training will be provided.Â
- Willingness to progress toward relevant professional designations (e.g. Cert CII).Â
- Strong organisational and time management skills.Â
- Customer experience focused.Â
- Proficiency with office software (MS Word, Outlook, Excel etc).Â
- Time Management & Organisation – the ability to prioritise and complete tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and ensure that clients are kept informed of quote status, renewals and any changes in a timely manner.Â
- Strong Communication Skills – Ensure clear, concise and professional communication with clients, insurers, colleagues and all other stakeholders.Â
