The Bank has offices in London, Malta and Gibraltar, currently serving innovative clients through a portfolio of e-money products and payment services as well as deposit accounts for its Corporate Clients. As the Business Systems Manager you will have financial services experience in a licensed entity.

What You Will Be Doing
- Manages development, maintenance and improvements to the Bank’s core banking platform and other line of business systems, ensuring they meet internal and external stakeholder needs.Â
- Manage day to day relationships with system vendors, acting as the primary liaison for issue resolution, maintenance, and change requests.Â
- Ensure system stability and adherence to SLAs, serving as front-line support for system issues, analysis, and troubleshooting.Â
- Advise executive teams and Committees on business system matters, including presenting business cases and impact assessments for system upgrades.Â
- Maintain understanding of system data models to support regulatory and operational data reporting requirements.Â
- Stay informed on banking technologies and market trends to support decision-making.Â
- Develop and maintain process maps for all business systems including the core banking system and identify operational efficiency.Â
- Lead business analysis efforts to gather requirements, document changes, and engage with vendors for effective implementation.Â
- Track vendor deliverables, ensuring timely execution and compliance with agreed service levels.Â
- Manage new system implementation projects, including planning, testing, and stakeholder engagement.Â
- Design and execute testing plans for new system deliveries, tracking results and ensuring successful deployment.Â
- Oversee and implement configuration changes, ensuring risk assessment and proper documentation.Â
- Maintain organized system environments, configuration documentation, and deployment logs.Â
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for business systems, collaborating with the IT Manager on access control, user support, and changes.Â
- Support business teams in developing and maintaining operational procedures related to business systems.Â
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
- Understanding of Banking and Financial services and associated software and ancillary technology.Â
- Experience leading design and implementation of critical core financial services related platforms and systems.Â
- Exposure to Digital and Cloud technologies.Â
- Technically competent in software development lifecycle and Project Management and Change Control.Â
- A thorough understanding of the regulatory environment in financial services.Â
- Strong organisational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.Â
- Focused individual that is personable with excellent attention to detail.Â
- Able to express complex issues to diverse and sometimes non-technical audiences at all levels of an organisation.Â
