Compliance Assistant

An experienced Compliance Assistant required for a company based in Gibraltar, ideally with experience from the Financial Services Industry, who is self-driven, results oriented and used to working in a regulated sector. The Compliance Assistant will ideally have worked on Viewpoint or similar softwares and be familiar with local Gibraltar compliance and KYC regulations and guidelines. Candidates who speak multiple languages would be of interest. 

Candidates must be living locally to Gibraltar or Southern Spain with necessary documentation.

What You Will Be Doing 

• Assisting the Compliance Officer in meeting the company´s compliance obligations in line with the Gibraltar FSC including assisting with relevant reports 

• Liaising with clients to collect and collate KYC documents including proof of identity 

• Obtaining any relevant banking or shareholder details for files 

• Keeping all documents and client files up to date 

• Any ad hoc work required or requested by the Compliance Officer in relation to the process of maintaining the client’s relevant documentation 

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role 

• Knowledge of Compliance / KYC requirements in Gibraltar  

• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and guidelines  

• Qualified to Degree level or hold relevant industry recognised qualifications  

• Ideally speak another language, ideally Spanish but any other would be a plus 

• Experience with viewpoint software and additional languages 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Aware of the importance of deadlines 

• Team Player
