IT 1st Line Support | IT/Telecoms | UK (Liverpool) onsite

IT 1st Line Support required for a company based in Liverpool. The primary objective of the IT 1st Line Support is to be involved in all aspects of the IT support role for all our in-house-teams. The ability to work within a team as well as using your own initiative is required.

What You Will Be Doing

  • To be a first point of coordination IT support requests by phone and ticket.

  • To be responsible for providing IT support and timely ticket closures.

  • Responsible for own SLA/KPIs

  • To provide 1st line support to end users for Microsoft Office Solutions.

  • To provide 1st line support to end users for hardware issues.

  • Build and deploy end users compute devices.

  • To support and collaborate with other team members in the delivery of IT support services.

  • To support escalation of incidents / problems to 2nd. / 3rd line support.

  • Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook/Office 365 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, and delegation)

  • Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with an emphasis on Windows desktop technologies (Windows 10/11).

  • Relevant 1st line / Helpdesk support experience.

  • G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent).

  • A legal right to work in the UK.

  • Transport will be highly beneficial
