Due to their growing reputation and contracts won in the GCC region, our client a dynamic creative events agency requires a Key Account Director (Pharma) to join their expanding team.

Are you passionate about events and have planning, negotiating and organizational skills embedded in your DNA? With a proven track record of 5 plus years in the agency or event space, ideally working with Pharma clients, you will be responsible for presenting and pitching to clients to develop opportunities and grow accounts. Additionally, you will have expertise in managing the client’s consultation throughout the event project lifecycle and managing the project management team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Present the company’s expertise to clients to develop opportunities to grow our accounts

  • Attend meetings to ensure proposals are aligned with the clients’ expectations

  • Consultatively manage clients throughout the project lifecycle

  • Guide and advise event project managers

  • Develop a trusting relationship with your clients

  • Resolving client issues

  • Negotiate contracts and monitor financials

  • Train teams on customer tools and processes

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

  • 5+ years in Account Management with some experience in an agency or in the hospitality/events sector

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical or healthcare clients and working knowledge of their processes

  • Proven experience in working with performance targets in previous commercial roles

  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic an advantage

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

  • High level of resilience and upselling skills

  • Strong leadership skills
