SRG are on the lookout for a skilled Product Data Analyst to join the Analytics Team in a thriving Barcelona office, dedicated to deciphering gamer behaviour and partnering with game teams to elevate the product, enhance player retention, and drive user conversion. The ideal Product Analyst will use a blend of quantitative analysis, data science, statistical methods, and programming for actionable business insights. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to adapt swiftly and thrive in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining close collaboration with analytics and game development teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with game development teams to uncover insights into user behaviour and address critical business inquiries, transforming extensive data into actionable conclusions and valuable learnings
  • Present your analysis findings to senior leaders, offering data-driven recommendations that inform key decision-making
  • Develop and evaluate A/B tests and conduct causal impact analyses to gauge the effects of new features and modifications
  • Consistently educate stakeholders on data literacy and best practices in analytics, empowering them to conduct accurate and insightful analyses independently

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering)
  • Be a collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies
  • 3-4 years of experience utilizing analytics to address business queries and unearth valuable insights
  • Familiar with Bayesian statistics is advantageous
  • Skilled in creating dashboards tools like Tableau or Looker
  • Proficient in designing and evaluating randomized experiments
  • Pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance immediate and long-term goals effectively
