Shift Supervisor – Hospitality – Gibraltar 

As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth execution of daily tasks and consistently high service standards. The role of Shift Supervisor blends hands-on operational leadership with team coaching and is key to delivering an excellent customer experience and maintaining high store performance. Upon successful selection a 3 months’ training program will be provided at the Seville HQ, all expenses paid.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Lead store operations during shifts, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and team performance 
  • Take charge as the shift leader, managing team deployment and prioritising operational responsibilities 
  • Maintain confident, calm leadership during peak times and unexpected challenges 
  • Engage with customers to ensure every guest receives a warm, welcoming experience 
  • Oversee all operational procedures, including cash handling, health and safety, hygiene, and product quality 
  • Organise and manage opening and closing tasks effectively and efficiently 
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper preparation and presentation of food and beverages 
  • Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and recognition to motivate and guide the team 
  • Collaborate with the Café Manager on scheduling, team morale, and performance feedback 
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and continuous learning 

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role 

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role in retail, food service, or hospitality 
  • Strong ability to lead, delegate, and coordinate team members during shifts 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to stay focused and uphold standards under pressure 
  • High levels of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail 
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
