What You Will Be Doing
- Carry out general building, construction and refurbishment works across company projects and properties.
- Undertake skilled tasks appropriate to individual experience and trade knowledge.
- Assist with plumbing, cladding, fitting, repair and general building works where suitably experienced.
- Work effectively alongside other trades, contractors and site personnel.
- Use tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Complete work to the standards required by the company and site management.
- Follow all relevant site procedures and health and safety requirements.
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role
- Proven previous experience within construction, building or a recognised trade is essential.
- Demonstrable practical skills in one or more areas such as general building, plumbing, cladding, waterproofing, fitting, refurbishment or associated trades.
- Good working knowledge of construction tools, materials and site practices.
- Ability to carry out work independently where appropriate.
- Reliable, practical and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to workmanship and finishing standards.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
